Dr. Jeremy B. Tucker

Jeremy Tucker, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Legacy Leaders Institute, brings a wealth of diverse experience to our organization. After serving three years in the US Army, Jeremy embarked on a multifaceted career in the insurance industry, starting as a records center clerk and advancing through finance, accounting, sales, marketing, and senior IT project management roles. His journey in the insurance sector was complemented by his work in personal tax preparation, which he started while still in the Army.

Jeremy's academic achievements reflect his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to continuous learning. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Sales and Marketing from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Computers and Information Technology from Webster University, a Master of Science in Accounting with an emphasis on Taxation, and a Doctor of Management with an emphasis on Quality Management.

Over the past few years, Jeremy has gained extensive experience across public, private, and non-profit sectors. His roles have spanned accounting, sales, marketing, advisory, and senior consulting positions. He also spent 12 years as an Adjunct Professor, teaching courses in Small Business Management, International Business, Statistics, and Organizational Development. His dissertation focused on employee involvement in change and job satisfaction.

Jeremy's professional background includes over 30 years of experience in accounting, auditing, income tax preparation, and insurance product sales. He has over 20 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager, leading complex and effective projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies. He possesses project management, team leadership, and information technology skills, managing budgets up to $50 million.

Jeremy is passionate about helping small business owners launch and grow their enterprises. His expertise includes strategic business planning, Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt), non-profit program management, contract development and negotiations, financial planning, payroll, strategic planning, budgeting and cost reduction, process redesign and change management, software implementation, team building and leadership, sales and marketing, statistical reporting and analysis, tax preparation, and accounting.

Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren outside his professional life. He is an avid golfer and bowler and occasionally plays musical instruments, including the Tenor and Alto Saxophones.
